Shane Clark Munn, 70, of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on October 8, 1954, at the old Thomas Dee Memorial Hospital in Ogden, Shane was the son of Oral H. Munn and Jessie B. Munn. He grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Chicago.

Following his military service, Shane built a lifelong career as a machinist at Thiokol Aerospace, dedicating over 30 years to the trade.

In 1972, Shane married Marilee Taylor, and together they had two sons, Michael and Aaron. Later, he remarried Mary Rose and was blessed with another son, Bridger.

Shane was a man who cherished life's simple pleasures. He found peace and happiness in fishing, golfing, cheering on his favorite football teams, and spending time camping in the beautiful Uinta Mountains.

Shane is survived by his sons, Michael (Diana), Aaron (Shannon), and Bridger Munn; his grandchildren, Christopher, Mykaela, Lennon, Eden, and Riley; and his great-grandchild, Maycie Zind Munn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oral and Jessie Munn, and his older brothers, Clair and Wayne Munn.

Shane's warmth, laughter, and love for the outdoors will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Graveside service will be held at Hooper Cemetery on July 21st, 2025 at 2:15P.M.
