Shanna Dee Stratton, 57, of Ogden, Utah, passed away on February 15th, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 17th, 1966, in Ogden, Utah.

Shanna was a devoted wife, mother, and caring friend. She is survived by her husband of 32 years Stanley Stratton; her children, Chance Stratton and Chase Stratton; her brother Edwin Lee Hymas and her sister Karen Dunifer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Merlin Hymas and Delora Hymas, and her sister Merla Smith.

Shanna graduated from Bonneville High School. She spent her young adult years in Wendover, Utah, where she worked for the Stateline Hotel, now the Wendover Nugget. She met the love of her life in 1991 and ended up moving around, eventually settling back down in Riverdale, Utah. The latter part of her life she worked for the United States Government, where she quickly became a beloved figure. She mentored and helped grow many future leaders.

Shanna will be dearly missed by the people whose lives she touched, she will be cherished and remembered forever.
