Sharon Rose Burker's Obituary

Sharon Rose Fulmer Burker, "The Queen Mother", 81, passed away February 15, 2015 at Apple Village Assisted Living, of Alzheimers disease. She was born May 4, 1933 to Herbert Clinton and Lennie Nora Beach Fulmer in Ogden, Utah. Sharon graduated from Ogden High School. She married Kenneth Bernard Burker on September 1, 1951. She worked at various jobs including several years at Cutter Laboratory, in Ogden. Her favorite occupation was taking care of children in her home, becoming "Granma" to many. She loved all of her family and the family reunions held each year, playing horseshoes. Her favorite getaway was to Wendover with her Kenny B. Sharon is survived by her children, Barkley (Melissa) Burker, Aliece Hackney, Clayton Burker, and Shawn Burker; grandchildren, Amy (Richard) Baird, Patrick Wielkiewicz, Kyle Burker and Krystal Burker; great grandchildren, Grayson Baird and Emrys Taylor; and one brother, Harlan (Linda) Fulmer. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenny B.; granddaughter Kelsey Marie Burker, son-in-law Boyd Hackney; and brothers Skip (LaVern) Fulmer, Ellis (Flora) Fulmer, and Daryl (Lajean) Fulmer. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Ogden City Cemetery.
