Sharon Lee Helbach, 50, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 12, 2026. Born on May 23, 1975, in Ogden, Utah, Sharon was one of four daughters of Ron and Gaylene Thornock.

Sharon’s greatest joy in life was her family. She married her childhood sweetheart, Danny Parrish, and they had two children, Destry Parrish and Bryce Parrish (Jennifer Legarra). She later found new love with Brian Helbach and embraced his daughter, Brylee Helbach (Will Godfrey) as her youngest daughter. Brian and Sharon later welcomed their son, Bryton Helbach (Lexi Helbach). Sharon was a devoted mother to her four children.

Sharon’s legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Aiden Martinez, Amelia Barton, Annalise Barton, Kaysen Parrish, Jennings Helbach, Lottie Helbach, and her bonus granddaughter, Addison Barton.

Sharon’s spirit was adventurous and kind. She found peace and comfort in nature, enjoying hikes and camping, discovering new places, and she cherished the simple joys of shopping and spending time with her family and friends. Sharon’s warmth and compassion touched everyone who knew her.

She cherished the relationships that developed over the 25 years she worked at Fresenius Medical Care.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Brynlee Parrish, her sister, Mindy Thornock, and Brother-in-Law Wayne Roberts.

Sharon is survived by her parents, Ron and Gaylene; Soulmate Brian; Sons Bryce (Jennifer) and Bryton (Lexi); Daughters Destry and Brylee (Will); grandchildren Aiden, Amelia, Annalise, Kaysen, Jennings, Lottie, and Addison; Sisters Natalie and Debra; Father-in-Law Warren Helbach, and many more.

The family extends special thanks to the McKay Dee Hospital Infusion Center staff and Sharon’s Cancer Support Group for the exceptional love, care, and support they provided during her journey.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
