Sharon B. Henrie, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

Sharon was born on December 2, 1940, in Logan, Utah, to Leona McNeil Balls and Arta Jesse Balls.

She married her sweetheart, Melvin C. Henrie, on June 27, 1958, in Logan, Utah. They enjoyed spending time outdoors and going for drives together.

Sharon was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings, with her favorite being the Young Women sports program in Benson, Utah.

Sharon was a gifted seamstress and enjoyed spending time with dear friends.

As her health declined, Sharon was blessed with visits from family and friends. The family expresses deep gratitude to all who spent time with her, offering comfort and companionship.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leona and Arta Balls; her son, Eugene J. Henrie; and her siblings, Bobby J., Edna Mae, Ralph, and Lloyd.

She is survived by her children, Saundra (Steve) Horne, Ray (Kathy) Henrie, and Teresa Henrie. Additionally, Sharon is survived by 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.
