Mom was just “The Mom” she was not your Average Susy homemaker. She didn’t like to bake or sew. She loved her family to distraction and did silly, corny things such as writing poems about them.

Mom, better known as Sharron Lee Finney (Sandberg/Pettry) died in Ogden, Utah from Organ failure at 75.

A hard worker all her life, she farmed with her family for most of your life and was also employed at Hill AFB Utah as Defense logistics, retiring after 31 years of service.

Mom was born on October 12, 1947 in Ogden, Utah to Lawrence George and Ruth Irene Sandberg. She was the youngest of nine children.

On May 20th, 1967, she married Von E Pettry in Las Vegas Nevada. The Union was blessed with five Children. Carrie Ann Arellano (Brandon) Henderson Ogden, Utah, Michelle (Richard) Abram Waverly, Kansas, Todd Scott Pettry Ogden Utah, Jade Aaron Pettry (Deceased) and Desiree Pettry Call South Ogden, Utah.

Mom and Dad divorced in April 1988 and mom met her most significant other and best friend David Douglas Finney. Mom and Dave Married on November 30, 1998. Although their marriage was short, it was a good time in her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dave, daughter Jade, Mother and Father, Sisters Violet Walker, Lorraine (Devon) Jensen, Marie (Butch) Jackson, Joyce Sandberg and Ruthie Sandberg, Brothers Harry and Larry Sandberg, brother in law Frank Sanders and Grand-daughter Taislynn Mae Call.

Survivors include Sister Ruby Sanders. Her four children, eleven Grandchildren. Chaylon (Whitney)Taylor, Jade (Ashley) Taylor, Chelsea (Mitch) Child, Beau Arellano, Skyler (Jordyn) Nelson, Rhetley Abram, Lacey Pettry, Taylee (Karston) Loader, Haley (Mike) Goeckritz, Tage and Tayson Call, and Taisdyn Fowers.  Fourteen Great-grandchildren Brantley and Skyley Taylor. Rylan, Karter and Mayleigh Child. Layne, Zayden and Scarlett Nelson. Taislee and Jett Loader. Keaten and Bracken Goeckritz, and Dehlylah and Gage Pettry. Many Nieces, nephews and Cousins.
