Sharyn Poulsen, 68, passed awayat Ogden Regional Medical Center on February 18, 2016. Sharyn was born on March 21, 1947 in Ogden, Utah and is the daughter of Stanley W. and Mary Poulsen of Washington Terrace. Sharyn graduated from Bonneville High and attended Weber State. She majored in Broadcast Journalism and wanted to be an anchor woman. Sharyn had been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She played the piano and was chorister in many callings. Sharyn is survived by her father, Stanley Wheatley Poulsen; brother, Scott Poulsen of Washington Terrace; sister, Sharleen (Mike) Shannon of Honeyville; aunt,Sherma Poulsen of Ogden; niece, Jen Spencer of Layton; seven nephews in Utah and Washington; and 17 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary White Poulsen; sister, Cindy Peterson; uncle Vernon Jr.Poulsen, and niece, Jonna Mary Shannon. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Calls Fort Cemetery, Hwy 38, Honeyville, Utah.
