Shauna Christensen Thomas

Shauna Christensen Thomas, age 53, of Ogden, UT, passed away in her home on Monday, July 25th of 2022.

Shauna was born on July 5th, 1969, to her parents John and Marlene Christensen in Utah.

To lose someone like Shauna, or Nae Nae as her loved ones called her, is to lose a best friend, a mother, a shoulder to cry on, and a caregiver to all. Her heart was so pure and full to the brim for everyone that surrounded her.  Her humor radiated throughout a room, along with her laugh and contagious smile; her jokes often left others with a stitch in their side, and tears in their eyes. Without the safe haven of Nae Nae's warm home and embrace the world seems bleaker and colder. She was a lover of animals (especially kitties), movies, outdoor adventures, get togethers, and most importantly her friends and family, even the distant ones. She was a bringer of joy and life, and the brightness and glitter of her smile could never be forgotten.

Shauna was greeted in death by her nephew Cayden, her grandma and grandpa Christensen, her grandma and grandpa Stone, cousin Dustin, and uncles on her maternal and paternal side, including Bill, Ray, and Allen.

She is survived by her only son Colby, her father and mother John and Marlene, her sisters/best friends Shelley and Jaycie, her brother Chad, her nieces and nephews Cassidy, Shaley, and Colten her great nieces and nephews, Colbie, Kaydence, Evangeli, Lucas and Axel, paternal aunts, and uncles, her many cousins, including Kim and Troy, and her cat Floky.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022at 1:00 p.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th St, Ogden, UT.
