Shayne Abram Melton, 42, passed away August 16, 2016. He was born April 3, 1974 to Donald G. (Paula) Melton and Jolyn (Ken) Himes in Angeles City, Clark AB Philippines. Shayne attended Roy High School. He married Meggan Hafen-Melton. Shayne was a truck driver and instructor for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and being outdoors. He loved his children and spending time with them. Shayne is survived by Tori (Ken) Ledbetter; son, Christopher (Rebekka) Melton; Jessica Dykens; son, Theron (Kimber) Melton; Barbara (Chad) Staten; daughter, Brylee Melton; Meggan Hafen-Melton; son, Tristin Melton; Corrin Ross; daughter, Willow Melton and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, John I. Bernard and son, Jayce Connor Melton. A Gathering for family and close friends will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at his parents home, 573 East 700 North, Ogden, Utah. Service to spread his ashes at the family cabin in Wyoming will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shayne Melton Memorial Account at Golden West Credit Union.
