On September 4, 2015 at the age of 97, Shirley (Johnson) Lehrmann was able to return to heaven. Shirley was born March 18, 1918 in Richfield, Utah to Joseph W. Johnson and Lucile E. Ence. Shirley lived a classy life. She loved to dance, travel, and keep up with family history. She also enjoyed many trips to Wendover with her sister Amy. Singing was another passion of Shirleys and she participated in many competitions within her church. She worked her entire career as a beautician at ZCMI Department Store. Later in life, Shirley married her dance partner, Bernard (Ben) Lehrmann, on March 25, 1975. Together, they traveled across the United States, and the Caribbean Islands dancing at various venues. In her recent years, she loved watching "Dancing with the Stars". Although she had no children of her own, Shirley was a very large and wonderful part of her nieces and nephews lives. Shirley is survived by one brother, Joseph (Esther) Johnson; one sister, Amy Thomas; 38 nieces and nephews; and a WHOLE LOT of great and great-great nieces and nephews; she is also survived by her husbands two daughters, Mary (Dallan) Williams and Loretta (Douglas) Frecker; daughter-in-law, Suzette Lehrmann; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband; her husbands son, Daniel S. Lehrmann; both of her parents; three brothers and three sisters. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services from 1:00 to 1:45 pm. Interment at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
