Simodosea (Borcie) Vigil, 92, passed away April 7, 2017 at Ogden Regional Medical Center. Mom was born June 19, 1924 to Narcisco and Rosenda Armijo in Ojo Sarco, New Mexico. Mom graduated from Velarde High School. She married Raymond Vigil in Velarde, New Mexico on December 6, 1945. She enjoyed gambling and bingo where she visited with many of her friends. She also enjoyed fishing with her family. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to places such as Europe, Saudi Arabia and traveling the U.S. to visit relatives. She worked for Ogden City School District for many years. The family would like to thank South Ogden Acute and Rehab Center for the care of our parents; also Amelia and the Staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center. Mom is survived by her husband, Raymond; son, Allan (Pepper); daughters June Trujillo and Lorie (Khaled) Al-Olayan; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. Mom was preceded in death by daughter, Mickie Owens; son, Ronald Vigil; and grandson, Robert Vigil. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 514 24th St., Ogden, UT. There will be a viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 6:00 7:30 pm with the Rosary from 7:30 8:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT. Interment at Ogden City Cemetery.
