Sirkka-Liisa Coxey passed away on March 7th, 2020 in South Weber, Utah, at the age of 75. She was born in Kotka, Finland on October 1, 1944, to Lea Vanhala and Henry Fors. She moved to Ogden in her early twenties, and in February of 1967, she married Larry Coxey in the Logan, Utah Temple.
Sirkka loved children and was a preschool teacher's aide for many years. Sirkka and Larry lived and raised their children in Valdez, Alaska where they lived for over 30 years before moving back to Ogden, Utah. She loved cats, dogs, fish, and birds. She loved to go for car rides to look at the scenery (especially flowers) and to have friends come and visit. When someone visited, they knew to not plan on leaving till they had been cooked and fed a full meal.
She is survived by her two children Nina (Shane) and Russell (Stephanie); two brothers Timo and Esko (Pirkko) and four grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Interment at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
