Obituary

Curtis A. Smith, 31, passed away October 9, 2013 of cancer. Curt was born February 4, 1982 in Ogden, UT. He graduated from Clearfield High School, class of 2000. An active duty member of the US Army, Specialist Smith served with courage and honor up to his last day. Curtis was wise beyond his years. Although those years were cut terribly short his life touched many. A talented musician who was skilled in many different instruments from drums to violin. He was an artist in many forms. His sprinkler was the best ever. he was a new York Giants fan. You were taken entirely too soon, but your short life with us was enough to change ours forever. you are our true hero, Curt. We will forever miss you. Curtis is survived by his parents, Dave and Natalie Large; four sisters: Tracie, Trina, Kyllie and Kelsie; nieces Cheyenne and Morigan; nephew Ryker; grandparents, Bill and Kaye Arnold; aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his older sister Jayleen, grandmother Norean, uncle Kenny. The family wishes to thank the US Army for all their support, HCI and his nurses Julie and Rachel.
