Stanley Buchanan, age 77, passed away October 28, 2015 with his son by his side.He was born, September 5, 1938 to James Alonzo Judson Buchanan and Callie Alma Smith in Springville, New York.He married Carol Force in Elko, NV on April 1, 1983. Stanley worked for Weber State University in the Facilities Management Department for 35 years and served nine years in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by Stanley (Laurel) Buchanan of Mountain Green, Ivah (Eddie) Pendley of Ogden, Robert Colsch of Ogden, Evelyn (Larry) Herold of Aurora, CO, Floyd (Fay) Buchanan of Glenwood, NY; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, five brothers: Richard, Ray, Joseph, Lawrence and Eddie Buchanan and half-sister: Bina Smith. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45 am at Leavitts Mortuary. Interment at Ogden City Cemetery.
