Obituary

Stanley Stoker Flint;

Departed this life on January 20, 2026 at age 95. He was born May 6, 1930 the son of Charles and Delila Flint of Kaysville Utah. He was raised on a farm where he learned to work hard at an early age. He graduated from Davis High School where he participated in many different sporting activities. He was the captain of his football team.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. After being honorably discharged from the military he attended Utah State and Weber State Universities.

In 1993 he met Delores Corcoran and they were married in 1997 at the Mountain View Baptist Church in Layton Utah. Together they enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Mexico, and cruises to the Caribbean and Hawaiian Islands.

Stan worked civil service at Hill Airforce Base for General Dynamics where he was a Logistics Specialist for the F-16 Aircraft Fighter program during the ten years he spent in Fort Worth Texas. He retired after 42 years of service.

He was an avid sports fan of the Utah Jazz and the BYU Football and basketball teams. For 24 years he kept himself fit by working out daily at the Ogden Athletic Club. He had many friends there. He took great pride in his appearance. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He is survived by his wife Delores Flint, his sister Charlene Merchant, his children, Todd and Dustin Flint, Stanna and Kenny VanDyk, step children Peggy and Steve Petersen, and Matt and Tina Corcoran, and his sister-in-law Berdine Flint. He also had 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grand-daugher, 6 step grandchildren, and 11 step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Grant, Jean Stevens, Vern, Gary, Noel Flint, and 3 infant siblings.

Funeral services will be held January 26, 2026 11:00am at Leavitt's Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden Utah. Friends may visit with family and attend viewing from 9:45 to 10:45 am at the mortuary.

Burial will take place at the Kaysville Cemetery 425 E. Crestwood Rd Kaysville Utah 84037.
