Stella Marie Loper, 78, passed away June 10, 2017. Stella was born May 21, 1939 to James Ralph and Betty Ann Leach in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Stella attended both Lancaster, Ohio and Logan, Ohio High School. She married Glenn Loper on June 19, 2003
Stella has worked most of her adult life; most recently she was the manager of Junction City Caf and also served as a school crossing guard in Ogden. Previously worked for Chromalox for over 20 years as an inspector and also worked for Amalgamated Sugar Company when first coming to Utah. She previously lived in the states of; Virginia, Ohio and Indiana while growing up.
She has been enjoying her retirement with the company of her family and grandkids, whom she loved very much. She loved taking care of her beloved puppy and cat.
She was a great gardener and enjoyed canning and making her special spaghetti sauce and salsa everyone loved. She loved the Western life style, enjoying the scenery and outdoor activities.
Stella is survived by her husband; Glenn Loper, sons; Larry Neal, Jack Neal Jr., daughters; Cindy Peterson, Reva Frederick, Tammy Donohoo and her brothers; Jim Leach and Bill Leach.
She has 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, one grandson, one daughter and her previous husband Jack Neal Sr.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Family will greet friends Saturday prior to service from 9:45 10:45 AM.
Interment at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park
