Sunny I. Davis left her mortal life on August 13, 2011 after a long and fierce fight with cancer. She has ascended into heaven and is with God. Surely he is pleased with her. Sunny leaves behind a loving husband of thirty three years, Burrell Davis. Sunny was born in North Korea on February 5, 1950 amid the Korean War. Her parents were refugees and made the dangerous walk to South Korea. She is preceded in death by her father, a respected attorney in South Korea. Sunny leaves behind her mother, sister, and brother in Korea, a son in Houston, Texas and a granddaughter in San Antonio, Texas. Sunny was an active member of the Bethany Korean Baptist Church in Layton, Utah, where she had many friends in the Korean community. She loved the people at her church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Korean Baptist Church at 1151 E.
