Susan Stuart

March 24, 1956 — May 22, 2023

Susan Stuart

Susan Stuart was born March 24, 1956, to Elliot and Fay Stuart. On May 22, 2023, she was granted her heartfelt wish to return home to again be with her parents.

Susan graduated from Bonneville High School and was always proud to be a Laker. We think she might hold the record for the longest attendance at the Weber State Institute of Religion, having taken classes there from 1976 to 2000.

During her life, Susan worked at Marie Callendar’s, Learning Wrap Ups, and for Uintah City. She volunteered at Weber County Library and Marlon Hills Elementary School.

Susan loved living in Uintah. She had a regular walking route of friends that she visited each day. She also loved going places with her mother and Aunt Joyce Stephens.

Susan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents Elliot and Fay. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Christine, Carl and Paula, and Paul and Danette. She is also survived by five nieces and one nephew (Emily Stovall, Melissa Castle, Darren Stuart, Stacee Madsen, Jessa Kovach, and Maria Stuart), as well as 15 great nieces and nephews.

The family thanks the wonderful staff at Chancellor Gardens for their loving care for Susan during the last two years of her life.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 31st, at 11 a.m. in the Uintah Cemetery. Rather than sending flowers, please help someone in need so that Susan's legacy is love, caring, and kindness.
