Remembering the Life….

Tamra (Macheledt) Larson was born on February 18, 1954, in Perham Minnesota the daughter of Ron and Colleen (Cool) Macheledt.

In 1974 Tamra married Doug Larson. They went on to have 2 children, Kai and Rebecca.

While she spent the first part of her marriage being a spouse in the navy, she had lived an active life. Tammie enjoyed helping with different projects or playing different activities for the families and kids while the ship was out to seas. After Doug retired, they moved to Utah. Tammie’s love for her family was the top priority in her life. She loved having family dinners and playing different games with her family. Tammie also loved camping, fishing, reading, sewing, and doing all sorts of different crafts. She enjoyed decorating her house for all the different seasons of the year. Christmas was her favorite holiday. Tammie was a very active member of the VFW Auxiliary for many years and held many different positions. Tammie formed real close friendships with many people within the VFW.

Tammie was a great mother, grandmother, and friend. Whoever ended up meeting her became a friend. If anyone needed help for any reason, Tammie was there to lend a helping hand. She made sure that the people she loved were taken care of.

On Thursday, August 6, 2026, Tammie passed away peacefully at the age of seventy-two years.
