Teri Alissa Olson's Obituary

Teri Alissa Olson October 19, 1974 ~ January 10, 2020 Teri Olson, or "TT" as she was known to friends and family, was born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 19, 1974. Teri was a mother to Noah Olson, daughter to Tom Pugh, and a big sister to Melanie Pugh, Becky (Tyson) Shelton, and Candice Pugh (Sol Adams). She also had a partner, Graydon Charlesworth, and they were very in love. She loved spending time with her son, Noah. She was very proud of him and encouraged his passion for skateboarding and snowboarding. Teri lived with her mother in Hawaii as an eight-year-old before they settled in Utah, where her family grew to include a new dad and three little sisters. Teri was an optimist and found joy and familiarity with positive quotes, songs, and movies. She was a lifelong concert-goer and a connoisseur of punk rock and indie music. Teri enjoyed spending time with her family and neighbors. In high school, she loved getting coffee with friends, and in college, she found a love of snowboarding. She loved taking her little sisters along on these adventures, sharing the joy she was discovering in life. She was very proud of her roots as a Pittsburgher and described the old town to many of her friends. She visited her friends and family there as often as she could, and considered them some of her most precious relationships and memories. Teri graduated from Roy High in 1992, where she made many lifelong friends, she then went on to graduate from Weber State University in 2002 with a B.A. in human resources and an MBA from Westminster College. She proudly worked on the human resources management teams of Lifetime Products, Sephora Distribution Center, and local and global businesses throughout Utah. She loved working with people, which attracted her to human resources. Teri was preceded in death by Janet Pugh, her mother, who was her best friend. They both loved cooking, being in the kitchen, and eating like an Italian. A viewing will be held at Leavitts Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT, on Friday, January 17th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
