Theron James Jim Palmer of Plain City, Utah died November 9, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motor cycle accident on October 29, 2016. He was born in Ogden, Utah on November 2, 1957 to Sallie J. and Theron L. Palmer. He has one son, Michael Dane Palmer from a previous marriage. Jim married April Buxton on November 13, 2015. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He attended Plain City and Morgan County Schools. Jim is survived by his wife, April; son, Michael Dane; parents; three brothers, Jack (Leona) Palmer, Sheldon Palmer and Ryan (Erika) Palmer. A Visitation for family and friends will be held on November 19, 2016 from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. A Last Ryde procession to the Plain City Cemetery where Graveside Services with full Military Honors will be held at 2:00 pm. There will be a Celebration of Life following from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Kokomo Club on 25th Street in Ogden, Utah. The family would like to express many thanks to the doctors and nurses at the McKay Dee Hospital Intensive Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation at the Celebration of Life.
