Obituary

T J was born in Ogden, Utah to Terrell J. and Paula Aikens

He passed away at home at the age of 42 in the arms of his mother and dad (Larry) from pulmonary thromboembolism.

T J served in the US Army and was stationed at Fort Riley (Big Red 1) and served a year at Camp Liberty during the war in Iraq.

He was a happy person who always had a smile and a joke. T J was also a very giving person buying blankets and handing them out personally to those who were standing in the cold at the rescue mission on Wall Blvd. or paying for a woman's groceries he saw struggling to come up with the money to pay the total of her bill.

T J enjoyed spending time with his family and buddies, usually getting into mischief. Always being the clown.

T J is survived by his mother Paula Garner and stepdad Larry Garner, (the only dad he ever knew.) His sister Dusty (Corey) Thorpe, brother Ed Thompson, two nieces, Tabitha Jewitt and Kaitlyn Argyle, two nephews Alex and Howard Argyle; a great niece Evelyn Jewitt and his grandma Donna Walker and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Terrell Aikens, grandparents Clyde W. and Claudia W. Aikens, Paul Layton and step grandfather AK (Al) Walker.

Per T J's wishes there was no visitation.

There will be a celebration of life this summer.

Let not your heart be troubled…I go to prepare a place for you…that where I am there may you be also.

John 14:1-3
