Tomie Trumpf June 9, 1936 ~ July 30, 2014 Tomie Trumpf, 78, passed away July 30, 2014 at 1:45 p.m. She was born June 9, 1936 to Sanzo & Toki Yoshikawa in Akita Ken, Japan. Tomie graduated high school. She married Rene Paul Trumpf. Tomies grandfather was Kanzo, born December 13, 1895. Kanzo Yoshikawa married Toyo, who gave birth to first son Sanzo. Sanzo married Toki Hasegawa who gave birth to sixth daughter Tomie and eleven other siblings. They lived in Akita Ken, Japan where Tomie met and married Rene Paul Trumpf (Ace). They made a home in the United States where Tomie learned English, created paintings, and hand tailored clothes for her kids. She found her best friend Akiko, and shared her gifts of karaoke. Strong yet delicate,she will always be remembered for her greatest role, a loving mother. She was a homemaker, a world traveling military wife, a friend. Her greatest gift to the world was food, laughter and love. Mommasan is survived by Terry Gonzales, Tani Walker, Takio Trumpf, and Takara Trumpf. Seven grandchildren: Tamar, Christen, Andrew, Steven, Lenard, Takio Junior (TJ), Jonathan. Great Grandchildren: Aidan, Luciana, Jude, Nyomi, Coraline, Samara. Also ten grand pets: Dallas, Sachi, Buttons, Harley (Dutchess & Tai), Mogul, Miki, Mira, Rocko, Marley, Mocha, and "Sister Cat". Services will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary. With a viewing one hour prior.
