Troy David Bowden, a man of remarkable intellect, humor, and an ever-adventurous spirit, passed away on June 8, 2025, in Ogden, Utah, at the age of 51. Born on March 22, 1974, Troy enriched the lives of all who knew him with his wit and boundless curiosity.

Troy called Ogden, Utah home, but his life was a testament to his love of travel and new experiences. His journey took him across the globe, living in diverse places such as Georgia, California, Nevada, Guam, Washington, Alaska, and even Saudi Arabia.

Troy proudly served his country as a Navy Corpsman from 1992 to 1996, a period that profoundly shaped his disciplined and adaptable nature, instilling a deep pride in caring for others. His generous spirit extended beyond his life, as he was an organ donor, offering hope and life to others.

A true lifelong learner, Troy pursued knowledge with enthusiasm, earning two Bachelor's degrees—one in Psychology (with minors in Philosophy and Communications) and another in Computer Science. He then completed a Master's program in Business Analytics and had even started work on his PhD. Beyond his academic achievements, Troy found joy in exploring new horizons, creating and listening to music, and staying active through various forms of exercise.

Troy is survived by his beloved children, Mysti, Kayli, Chrystina, Embyrleigh, Shane, and Amelya. He also leaves behind his devoted mother, Carol, and siblings, Russ, Nathan, Crissy, Jason, Melanie, Bart, Seth, and Maggie. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley, and his brother, Shane (who his son was named after).

Funeral Services:

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Leavitt's Mortuary, located in Ogden, Utah. The funeral service and burial will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location.
