Troy Edward Waters, 68, passed away Friday, December 20th, 2013 after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born April 17th, 1945 to Edward and Ouida Parker Waters in Mobile, Alabama. From age 12-18, Troy lived at the Catholic Boys Home in Mobile. After graduating high school, Troy enlisted in the US Air Force where he served for four years during the Vietnam War. Troy started his career in the food industry working in several states as a restaurant manager. He also worked for Bean Dredging as a marine engineer where he traveled extensively throughout the US. He found himself in Utah where he met Karen Homer and they were married March 17th, 1993. Together they own Karens Caf on Historic 25th Street in Ogden. He was also an avid golfer as well as a college football fan. He is survived by Karen Waters, Hilliary (Brian) Sanders, 4 Sisters and 2 Brothers, many Step-Children and Grand Children including his beloved Deigan Edward Sanders and constant companion Bubba. A visitation of family and friends will be on Saturday, December 28th, it will begin at Noon with a service following immediately after at 1:30 pm at Leavitts Mortuary Aultorest Memorial Park at 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah 84403.
