Tyler Blaine Crawford passed away May 22, 2022, in Ogden, Utah from complications related to an infection.
Tyler was born May 16, 1963, in Price, Utah to Blaine and Claudia Allred Crawford. He was blessed with devoted parents who loved him fiercely throughout every stage of his life.
Tyler grew up in Orem, Utah. He was the oldest of five children and from a young age he had a curious mind and many interests. He was athletic and whether it was baseball, snow skiing, weightlifting or racquetball, he was good at everything he tried. He was intense and always wanted to be older than he was- moving on to the next stage and trying the next thing. Life couldn’t move fast enough for him.
After high school, he attended Dixie State where he cemented his lifelong love of the heat and sunshine.
He served an LDS mission to Melbourne, Australia where he had wonderful memories of serving the people there.
Following his mission, he attended the University of Utah and graduated with a degree in business. After graduation, he moved to California to begin his career and live by the ocean. It was always his happy place.
Tyler had the heart of an entrepreneur and was very creative and intelligent. He loved discussing business ideas and built a very successful painting and decorating business. He took great pride in his work. He enjoyed good food and elegant, expensive things. He loved people and interesting conversation. He always made friends wherever he lived due to his affable nature and genuine concern for others. He enjoyed hard work, and nobody could make a yard look more beautiful. He loved working with his hands and was equally good at building something intricate, making a sandwich, or hanging a picture just right. He liked to laugh and tease and debate and was sometimes a little sarcastic. He was also a kind and gentle soul. He developed a close, fun relationship with his nieces and nephews.
He had 4 sons who he always held close to his heart. He was blessed to be their Pa and he loved them more that they will ever know.
We as a family are so grateful Ty is back home. We pay tribute to his memory and are so happy to know he loved us and that he is at peace.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Reid and Vaughn Allred and Ralph and Ardeth Crawford.
He is survived by his four sons Drew, Jake, Carter, and Hayden Crawford, his loving parents Blaine and Claudia Crawford, siblings Susan and Brady Brown, Ryan Crawford, Elizabeth and Brandon Blaser, Steven and Laura Crawford and many loving nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Helper, Utah
