Verlene beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father on January 14, 2018 from complications of old age. She was 83. She was delivered onto this earth by her father and her sister Nelda in the familys wood cabin in Tygee, Idaho where she spent her early childhood and went to school in a one-room schoolhouse until the age of 9, and then her family moved to Logan, Utah. She attended Logan High School and graduated in the Class of 53. She attended 2 years of college at the Utah State University studying secretarial skills. Verlene began her career at Hill Air Force Base; she stopped working to begin her family and then returned later to retire after 26 years. Shortly after she met Leone Anderson; the two were married in the Logan Utah LDS Temple in December 1956. They had five children together and were married for 23 years. Five years after divorcing Leone she married again to Daniel Danielian. She was an avid church member and held many callings which enriched her life and those lives that she touched. She believed in natural healing and lived a strong and healthy lifestyle. Verlene was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Danielian; her parents J. Lee and F. May Peterson; her siblings: Nelda, Jean, Bruce, Carma, and Dorothy; her son Eric Lee Anderson; her step-daughter Lynn. She is survived by her sister Marla and brother Duane; her children Denise, Darin (Ilene), Maylene (Vaughn), Stuart (Charlisa); her step-children Danene (Howard), and Richard (Michele); her 12 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. We would like to thank Legacy House of Ogden for all their attentive care and kindness given to our mother in the last chapter of her life. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT 6:00 -8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Washington Terrace 4th Ward located at 4760 S 200 E Washington Terrace, UT 84405 Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm. The family will greet friends from 1:00 1:45 pm prior to the Funeral Service.
