Walter R. Bunn died peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer. Walter was born on June 4, 1936 in Rupert, Idaho to Blanche Piper Bunn and Eugene E. Bunn. Walter lived in Burley, Idaho until the age of 15 then moved to Springfield, Oregon. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1955. He moved to Ogden, Utah where he met and married his wife JoAnne McBride. They were married on July 19, 1957. Together they raised 5 children. He is survived by his wife JoAnne, his children: Susan (Clark) Rukavina, Roger (Sandy) Bunn, Diane (Charles) Kelly, W. Brian (Teresita) Bunn, Kenneth (Cheryl) Bunn, one brother, George (Glenda) Bunn and two sisters, Maxine (Gerald) Ekker and Rose (Glen) Wylie. Walter is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Walter was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Marjorie (Bunn) Worwood and one grandson, Nicholas Rukavina. Funeral services for Walter will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Leavitts Mortuary. Friends and family may call Friday, July 27, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. also at the mortuary. Interment will be held at Ogden City Cemetery.
