Wanda LaRae Pope, aged 89 years, of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026. Born August 27th, 1936, to the late George and Marvel Pope.

Wanda lived a life filled with kindness, laughter, and an unwavering love for family and friends. She was known for her generous spirit and a heart that welcomed everyone.

Wanda enjoyed hobbies that included ceramics, swimming, and doing word searches. She cherished time with family and loved storytelling. She had the most remarkable ability to remember poems and stories.

Wanda is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who have many treasured memories. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Marvel; her brother, Norman; and her sisters, Ramona, Donna, Mildred, Georgia, Carol, Sharon, and Karla. The family is reunited.

A celebration of her life will be held at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah 84403, on Friday, May 29th at 2:00 PM, where we encourage you to share your favorite memories and honor Wanda's legacy. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family at the same location starting at 1:00 PM.

Wanda’s warmth and love will remain in our hearts always.
