Obituary

Warren Elmer Syphers, 78, of Ogden, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from natural causes.

Warren was born on September 2, 1945 to Elmer Syphers and Pauline Addie Nix in Ogden, UT. He attended Ben Lomond High School. He served in the Army at Fort Irwin during Vietnam. He was honorably discharged and completed 5 years of Reserves.

On his 21st birthday, Warren married Leslie Brunson. They were blessed with two children; Stacy and Kurt. They were later divorced.

Warren was a skilled diesel and auto mechanic. He loved and owned many muscle and classic cars over the years. He enjoyed motorcycles and rode up until 2021. He spent the majority of his career working for Kentron, CSC, and JT3 at the Utah Test and Training Range for Hill AFB. In 2011, he retired after 32 years.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; James Syphers, Cora Belle Syphers and Sandra Syphers Peterson. Also, four great grandchildren; Xander, Autumn, Damion, and Aiden.

He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Storey (Jerrod) and his son, Kurt Syphers (Andi). His grandchildren; Anthony Sean Evans, Megan Evans, Austin Evans, Makenzie Syphers, Tate Syphers and six bonus grandchildren. Great grandchildren; Silas, Millie, Maxon, Knox, Jax, and one more on the way. He's also survived by nieces Barbara Syphers, Jami Summers and nephew, Chad Peterson.

Dad requested no funeral services. We will be doing a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 18th (he loved spring/summer) at his home. We will be planting a memory tree in his honor.
