Wayne Dale Roberts, known affectionately as Lum, passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 56 in Ogden, Utah. He was born on January 10, 1968, in Ogden, Utah, to Vickie and the late Dwaine Roberts.

Lum graduated from Weber High School and spent his early career as an auto mechanic from 1987 to 2007. He later worked as a cement mixer driver for Geneva Rock from 2007 until his retirement in 2022. Known for his ability to fix anything, Lum was often likened to a real-life MacGyver. His hobbies included hunting, camping, boating, mud racing, and enjoying football, particularly cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, brought him immense joy.

Lum is survived by his loving wife, Natalie Roberts; children, Brittany Roberts, Brayden Roberts, and Tawni Roberts (Logan Andersen); grandchildren, Kenzlie Johnson, Haylie Roberts, Talyn Roberts, Tazyn Gonzalez, Tinzlie Gonzalez, Brogan Andersen, Wylie Andersen, and Kaden Wayne Andersen; mother, Vickie Roberts; brothers, Denny and Cody Roberts; in-laws, Ronald & Gaylene Thornock, Sharon Helbach, and Debra Spell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dwaine Roberts; sister, Rachael Roberts; grandparents, Leland Dale, Viola Saunders, Charles Roberts, Ailene Bright Roberts; and sister-in-law, Mindy Thornock.

The funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11th, 2024, at Leavitt's Mortuary located at 836 36th St., Ogden, Utah. A viewing will take place at 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 3 pm.
