Wayne Williams's Obituary

Wayne Earl Williams went home to be with the Lord at age 66 on December 27, 2014. He was born to Pensword Charles and Velma Jean Williams in Sydney, Nebraska on October 11, 1948. After attending Clearfield High School, he became a decorated veteran in Vietnam as a Scout Dog Handler. He married Linda Williams, his sweetheart of forty three years, on July 1, 1971. Wayne is remembered for his love of the outdoors, distinguished skill as a skier, compassion for his family and friends, a rambunctious side that captured his childrens and grandchildrens hearts, a talent for guitar and eagerness to play to an audience, an extreme sense of honor in serving our country, and his earnestness to share the love and truth that shaped his life: his greatest passion, his Lord Jesus. Wayne is survived by his wife Linda, his brother Charles, his sisters Penny and Debbie, his two children Jeromy and Heather, and seven grandchildren. Wayne is preceded in death by his mother, father and his brother Gary. A special thanks to Rocky Mountain Hospice. A Service to Celebrate Waynes Life will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 2, 2015 at Leavitts Mortuary Aultorest Memorial Park 836 36th St. Ogden, Utah.
