It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Wilfred "Willie" Jaramillo, who passed away on May 18, 2018, of natural causes. Our father was born on March 26th, 1932, in Ouray, Colorado to Santiago and Josefita Jaramillo. He married our mother, Virginia Valdez on February 16, 1952, in Delta, Colorado.
There are not enough words to describe how much of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend, and neighbor he was. Dad was a born entertainer, entrepreneur, and one of the smartest and hardest working people weve known. He played bass guitar for several country music bands in the 60s and 70s; retired civil service at Hill AFB after 35 years; had his own trucking business, and could fix anything he put his mind to. He did things in his 80s that most people dont even think about half his age.
We want to thank Stonehenge Rehabilitation Facility for taking great care of dad in his final days. We also want to thank his neighbors, friends and his loving family who were there for him to the end. He is survived by his wife Virginia, children James (Debbie) Jaramillo of Hooper, Steven Jaramillo of Roy, Janet (Fred) Martinez of Clinton and Debra (Brett) Boyce of Clinton, Utah along with 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Eli Jaramillo of Roy, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago & Josefita Jaramillo; Sisters Genevieve, Elsie, Teresina, & Mary and brother Moses.

"Dad, you will be forever in our hearts and thoughts. We dont know who is going to watch and take care of this big family like you did. But, you worked hard to leave a legacy and we will do our best to fill-in. It may take two or three of us but we will get it done. We know the hurt and the tears will never go completely away. Comforting to know that one day we will all be together again. Rest in Peace Dad. We love you".
