William Fay Dillon passed away peacefully at home January 22, 2011. He was born September 19, 1921 in Kamas, Utah, son of Edward Alvin and Flora Belle Potts Dillon.Fay was a WWII veteran serving from 1942 to 1945. He married Dona Beth Clyde February 14, 1942 in Heber City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.He worked as a Construction Inspector for the US Bureau of Reclamation.He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he served in many positions including a Service Mission with his wife Dona.He is survived by a daughter, Lynnette (Jerry) Adams, 3 sons, Steven E. (Ruth Wheeler), Clyde F. (Marty Belnap), Rickey M. ; 21 grand children, 77 great-grand children, a brother, Thomas L. Dillon and a sister, Kathryn Dillon Robertson. Preceding him in death were his wife, Dona, a grand daughter Allyson, his parents, 10 brothers and 2 sisters.Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan.29, at 10 a.m. at the Memorial Park Ward, 38th St. and Porter.
