In Loving Memory of Major William Bruce “Wild Bill” Williams Ret. January 25, 1958 – July 11, 2026.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bill Williams. Born on January 25, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio, Bill was a proud American, a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather, brother, veteran, and friend. He made his home in Syracuse, Utah, where he built a life defined by courage, loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love. He leaves behind his treasured wife, Trisha Elaine Williams (m. 24 June, 2023), brother Doug, children Gabrielle, Liam, and Karen (and wife Kiera), stepchildren Robert, Dezmond, Neveah, and Mariah, sister-in-law Monica Morales, and parents-in-law Susan and Grant Jones. One of Bill’s greatest joys was being a grandfather to Aurelie, Milo, Anthony, and River. His grandchildren lovingly called him “Geo,” and he cherished every moment spent with them. The love they shared will remain one of his family’s most treasured memories.

Bill proudly served his country, both in the U.S. Navy in his youth, and in the U.S. Army Reserve during Operation Enduring Freedom. His service reflected the values that guided his entire life: honor, sacrifice, strength, and dedication. His family is proud of his service and his children served and continue to serve the nation and their communities by this example.

Whether people knew him as Bill, Wild Bill, Major, Husband, Dad, or Geo, they knew a man could make you laugh, stand beside you during difficult times, and love fiercely, whose presence filled every room. His family will remember him for his strength, his wisdom, his unforgettable personality, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. His spirit will live on through every lesson he taught, every smile he inspired, and every life he touched. Bill's memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
