Wilma Ellertson passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, July 13, 2015. She was born May 29, 1923 in Scott County Kentucky to Lawrence VanHook Welch and Lucile Brown Welch. She married Calvin O. Ellerston on November 29, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wilma loved babies, and her life was made complete by her children. There was nothing she wouldnt do for them if she could. Later in life she discovered basketball, the Jazz of course, and NASCAR races, much to the surprise of her children! If she was on the phone, she would say, I have to go, the game is about to start!" Wilma is survived by her sons, Craig (JoLene), and Randy; daughters, Tamara (Bill) Ruesch and Mitzi Bretz; her sister, Evelyn Welch; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; her brother Lawrence; and her husband, Calvin. Graveside Services will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah.
