Yolanda Londy Victoria Manfredi Spendlove, 83, of Washington Terrace, Utah, passed away March 30, 2011, from an extended illness, at the home of her daughter Judy Martin in South Ogden, Utah surrounded by her family.Londy was born in Ogden, Utah, on October 27, 1927, to Livio Manfredi and Paoulina Parenti. She married Grant Spendlove in St. Marys Catholic Church. In moms younger years she was a dance instructor at Arthur Murrays Dance Studio. She worked in the field of cosmetology most of her life, where she won numerous awards at the Bon Marche from Frances Denny and Estee Lauder.She loved to play bingo and go on trips to Wendover with her sisters and family. She had a passion for bowling for many years.Londy was a devoted Catholic and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Mother loved to cook Italian family dinners, and spending Sundays with her family. Londy is survived by her husband Grant, Washington, Terr., daughter, Deborah Gamble, New Port, CT., Judy Martin, South Ogden, Jay (Terry) Spendlove, CO., Michael (Laura) Spendlove, Reno, NV., Diane Pennington, Ogden, Michele Johansen, Ogden, and Shawn Spendlove, Washington Terr., sisters; Elva Phillips (Ned Miller), Orange City, CA., Alba Bertoldi, Ogden and Virginia Mortenson, Ogden. She is also survived by, 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by two brothers Karl and Paul (Manfredi) and her sister Lena Fowers. The family would like to thank Judy for taking care of mom and Hearts for Hospice for the loving care given to Londy.Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. A viewing will be held Monday, April 4, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, with the Holy Rosary being held at 5:30 p.m. also at the Mortuary.
