"Zander" Alexander Peter Johnston's Obituary

Zander passed away April 30, 2019 in the arms of his loving mother and father, from complications of severe lung disease. He was born October 10, 2018 in Ogden, Utah. He was born at just 24 weeks old. He fought every day to be in this world and taught his family what it really means to be strong. He was only in this life a short time, but he quickly adapted to what life threw at him. He learned how to use his little eyebrows to express himself whether it was annoyance, happiness, surprise or just to let us know he was done with our crap. Every person that came in contact with him quickly fell in love with his chubby cheeks and his fighting spirit. He brought us so much joy and happiness in his short life. He was and will always be a perfect little boy. Zander will remain in our hearts forever. We love you wee man. He is survived by his father Ally Johnston, his mother Sharisse Tolton, his sisters Ellie and Lana Johnston, his grandparents Bob and Debbie Tolton, and Alistair and Aileen Johnston, and by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. We want to express thanks to the McKay Dee and Primary Children hospital staff for all of the tender care and love you offered to Zander and our family. We also want to thank everyone who has supported us through this extremely difficult experience. We love each and every one of you. Everyone is invited to celebrate his life with us. Saturday, May 4, 2019, a viewing will be held from 2 - 3:30 pm. The funeral will start at 3:30 pm, at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah 84403. May the 4th be with you.
