Rosemary Fronda, 68, our most amazing beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Monday, September 16, 2019, at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah.
Rosemary was born July 25, 1951 in Ogden, Utah, to Nemesio and Ruth Fronda.
Rosemary was a long-time resident of Ogden. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1971. She lived a life of service, whether it was for her family or those in whom she came in contact with, quietly serving in whatever capacity was needed. She loved unconditionally, never judging, and was a great example to all.
She worked as an intake for the Utah Migrant Council in her early years, helping countless families throughout the local area. In her later years, she worked for NPS for 17 years; she enjoyed her work and the friends she made there. She was a valued employee, receiving awards for her work and dedication to staff and customers.
She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They loved her too and have many fond memories of their time together. Mom was infamous for watching her novellas and listening to her vast love of music. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her kids and grandchildren. Her homemade tortillas and cookies were her specialty. She was highly skilled with many crafts; she enjoyed crocheting and sewing items for her family.
Truly one of a kind, genuine heart of gold; amazing mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, friend and everything in between. The mold was broken when this world was blessed with her spirit. She touched everyone she met and will be forever loved and always in our hearts.
She is survived by her ex-husband Gilbert Arredondo; her daughters Tonita Rico, Esther Arredondo, Naomi Villanueva, Miranda Arredondo, Catrina Arredondo; her son Gilbert Arredondo; her sisters Kathy Hough and Rosalie Tafoya; her brothers Eddie Fronda and Lonnie Fronda; she is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Richie Fronda; sisters Eleanor Pulido, and Judy Pulido.
