Crystal Gardens Mausoleum: A Serene Tribute at Aultorest Memorial Park
Crystal Gardens Mausoleum at Aultorest Memorial Park in Ogden, Utah, is a large and elegant outdoor mausoleum created in 2005, named in loving memory of Mike Leavitt's daughter. This peaceful sanctuary features both full burial crypts and cremation niches, providing families with a serene final resting place for their loved ones. Surrounded by vibrant flowers and enhanced by a beautiful fountain, Crystal Gardens offers a calming atmosphere where visitors can reflect and find solace. The tranquil setting, combined with the carefully landscaped grounds, makes it a beautiful and enduring tribute to those who rest here.
Aultorest Memorial Park
The Aultorest Memorial Park Historic District is comprised of nearly 51 acres of majestic trees, spacious lawns, and winding pathways. The Mountain View Cemetery section, which dates to 1884, exemplifies the 19th century’s rural cemetery movement. In 1946, the old Mountain View Cemetery merged to form Aultorest Memorial Park.
Cremation Garden
This state-of-the-art area of our cemetery includes posts, pillars, and boulders for cremated remains. It is a peaceful final resting place that loved ones can visit and pay tribute for years to come.
Changes to the Memorial Park
Over the years, there have been relatively few alterations made to the original historic cemetery grounds and mausoleum, apart from regular maintenance efforts made to the property and buildings. The mortuary and chapel have been renovated, and a second garden mausoleum was built in the 2000s. In the 2010s, the Crystal Gardens Mausoleum, was built to include impressive water features and various pillars and sculptures.
